A friend of mine has got his car in the garage for the management light staying on,
the garage say that the fault codes say that the variable valve timing is faullty,
which is fair enough,but the car is running perfectly? they have ordered the parts
up, which are about £450 for both pulleys, surely maybe one would be at fault
and not both together?

Has anybody ever had any dealings with the cam pulleys failing? I thought that these
were pretty much bullet proof on the volvo 5 pot?
