Its the level 3 (big one i think) I have got it fitted at my local garage as it was easier than going over to Stockport. does anyone know if you can buy or indeed need to cover the Ecu now that the old airbox is missing??

Only driven it 200yrds but it does seem to make more noise

Ive got the DCSI one in mine and my ECU hasnt been covered for a very long time, it will be ok. You can get some fancy chrome covers that make it look snazzier if you wanted though.

My ECU is not covered by anything, it's just sat there behind the headlight and has been fine for the last 18 months

. You can get under bonnet bling that fits around the wiring harness, IIRC Phil has got something fitted to his car.

Should there be more noise when accelerating or on let off???? Could not really hear today over the noise of two kids

You shouldnt notice a lot of difference in noise! As its a closed filter it should just be a tiny bit noisier than standard! The open filter ones like the K&N 57i and the Dsci give you more noise!

I agree mines not noisy at all, but it makes a difference to performance when used with a full exhaust and remap.

I have an Autospecialist ecu cover on mine, but its just for bling.

I have the AS cais and it didn't make a lot of difference to the noise but YES to the performance
