For road use ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid and change it every two years. ATE recommend every 3 years.

Yeah Motul do a 5.1. It's about £6.50 for 500ML! Not a litre!
Cheap DOT5.1 are cheap for a reason. Motul RBF 660 has a better dry and wet boiling point and it's a DOT4 fluid.

Motul DOT5.1:

Dry boiling point 270 °C / 518 °F
Wet boiling point 185 °C / 365 °F

Motul RBF 660 DOT4:

Dry boiling point 325 °C / 593 °F
Wet boiling point 204 °C / 420 °F

My car is going in for a service on Friday. How many litres do you need to a brake fluid change. Was going to get them to upgrade to Motul 5.1 if that's the best to get.

2 litres is more than enough.
Get a good DOT4 like recommended above.
Just as good and only needs replacing every 2 years.
