My car is going in for a service this week, im not sure if the brake fluid has been changed as its not done that many miles and with a trip to the ring in June im pondering changing the fluid to DOT 5.1 should it require changing.

Where can i get the fluid from?

I've had a quick look around on the net but i cant seem to find much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try Halfords or Opie Oils on the web - I got my Castrol Super Response fluid from them, tho I actually think Ford do a 'Super' spec brake fluid too, i'm sure the bottles I've got are like that.

If you want decent fluid go to your local car parts factor, ask for delphi 5.1 non silicone based brake fluid, They will be far cheaper than halfords and other places.
