Well after finally getting rid of the fiesta on saturday i came home to buy this Red Escort RS Turbo!

Its my mates old one and the engine is sweet at a nut, but it does need a rear arch and bootlid to clean it up a bit!

Anyways been looking for one for ages i can restore and strip down and re-build for concorce competitions and basically to keep me occupied through the week!

here's a few pic's of when i picked it up this morning and a few after ten min's of ownership! gonna keep this thread upto date as much a possible so stay tuned!!

mods are simple, a Magnex s/steel cat back system, K&N filter and a baileys dump valve!!
External mods are koni adjustable shocks and spring set up!
New alloys are rare as
DeCorsa alloys that i bought from a guy in middlesbourgh at the weekend!!

awsome had a few rs turbos buy one sell it relised id loved it then gone out and bought another lol. they are addictive to drive and the 8v burble on the exhaust is one off my favorite car sounds.my second one i had fitted a full cosworth illsion body kit and stupid large wheels with wide tyres and a smaller steering wheel sometime i had to get me mates to help me turn the steering wheel just to do three point turns lol enjoy brilliant cars
very nice butsy. ford turbo power gotta love it.

this is my 5th RS Turbo so i kinda know what im doing with them! my first one was just over 10years ago! (one of which was a 250bhp RS Turbo VAN!!!

Gonna start stripping it down to the bare shell over Xmas and get everything done right! engine is perfect and its NOT going to be modified any more than it already is!

oh and Allan by the way its not a different set of alloys on both sides............ i changed the wheels as soon as i got it back to my lock up!

Lovely! Id love another RST to play with too! My old black S2 had a 1900 longblock engine with big valves ported head and a hybrid turbo! Made the ST feel tame in comparison and that was only running about 1bar coz the original injection system couldnt keep up! Cant wait to see how yours ends up! Ive still got a set of original RST wheels by the way if anyones interested!
