Hi all, I'm considering the mountune 260 conversion.
Main reason being the fact it doesn't effect the ford warranty, car is only 8 weeks old.
I have been out in my brothers ST which has bluefin.
My question is how will the drive compare, bluefin to mountune?
His car felt like a rocket, and was very very smooth.

im not sure if alot of people on here really go for bluefin (you dont hear alot of it on here)
bluefin may void your warranty
mountune in my eyes is the only package where it will always give you at least 260bhp (usualy more)
as with other maps people use random mods with it and dont get a constant figure.
plus it depends on how your car will react to the mods.
if your cars 8 weeks old...
i'd go mountune

In a forum poll last year, 15% of voters have Bluefin. 7% have Mountune.

The best advice you could get.

I would think that is changing all the time and would think if Mountune has not overtaken bluefin, there wouldnt be much in it.

Drive all the mods and see which you like best.

But If your cars 8 weeks old I'd go Mountune every time - well I did in fact!

Never regretted it!

Now mismatching my front and rear typres . . . that's another matter!

Like many have said, everyone will always be biased. The only way you will know is by driving them both yourself and seeing which best suits your driving style.

I can't talk really as didn't try any and just 'knew' mountune would deliver what I wanted, which was something official so to speak and would be smooth and in keeping with the original map on the car. Not that I'm saying the other's are not as have never driven or been in them!

But I can't fault the Mountune in any way shape or form!

Plus keeps warranty and no clutch slip.......YET!
(promptly touches wood)
