I have installed the bluefin stage 1 to both of my st's and the difference is very impressive, whch I'm sure others on the market will give you around the same improvements, I'm not sure if you get the full 50bhp as stated, but over the standard map as a percentage it certainly feel 20% better, you won't be dissapointed trust me!
Bluefin is indeed a modification, it's a handheld device that reprograms your st's ecu giving increased bhp and torque. The device lets you swap between standard and modified maps whenever you want ie when you take you car to ford for it's service.
Superchips sell direct at £391 inc delivery not sure if there's a discount for members but if there is it would be worth the £10 joining fee.
thanks and yer il prob be joining soon iv not got a st yet but iv sold the car i had and looking 4 a new car 4 the start of next year and i relly like the st, inshorents is quit a lot but im 21 so no surprise there. how is reliability on the st and whats the fuel consumption like i no it uses quit a lot but then all cars with that sort of power probly do.
also does the superchiped make it any less reliable or use a heck of a load more fuel. sorry 4 asking a 101 qestionss
I dont think you have to worry about reliability, they are pretty good.
Fuel is not too bad either, I have a 100 round trip every day, 15 miles on A roads the rest on the motorway and soft footing it I get 37mpg, yes 37mpg, normal driving i get about 31mpg, since fitting my induction kit it seems to be more efficient
