prior to getting the car and forgot i had!
Anyway, unfortunately i can't find the instructions to fit it!
So i'm wondering if anyone has fitted one of these or knows how to fit a similar one to this. If so could you post a how to do it instructions on here?
never fitted one but looks from the pic that it is designed to plug into a coax cable, the red wire needs to be connected to the aerial activation wire from the stereo (or at least an ignition controlled live)
The unit will also require a good earth to operate properly.

To remove the original aerial you need to remove the front roof light lense as described in the owner's manual. This should expose a couple of screws holding the rest in place. Remove the whole fitting and disconnect the cables. In the hole you will see the underneath of the roof aerial with fitting bolt/screws and cable. Undo and remove matey.
I would assume that fitting the bee sting aerial would be the reverse of above

Right i've got her booked in to a place called Hickley Valtone, which is a radio specialist in Taunton dealing in pioneer, kenwood and Alpine. I'm hoping they can check that 1) That it can be fitted with minor mod's, cabling etc 2) That the bee sting won't give me reduced reception on the radio.
Well keep you posted! If i get it fitted i'll post some pics!
Just had quote back from the firm i mentioned earlier in this thread! They say it will take two hours to fit and will cost me £63+vat an hour!
So i've approached the garage i usually use and they have a new chief techy guy who says that they can fit it but i have to source the additional bits and bobs to marry it up with the ford system!!
