The girlfriends Merc c180 kompressor isn't warming up and looks and from research it seems as though it will be the thermostat.

The engine temp won't rise and also the the heating Isn't working in the cabin.

Two things 1.) does the probles sound like a thermostat issue an 2.) is it ok to drive until repaired?

Would appreciate any help thanks in advance
