Good price, but they want to charge me £138 to repair 3-4 chips on 1 wheel and 1 small chip on the other... surely i can get it done for cheaper than that!

That does seem abit steep! you may be better off getting a mobile repairer to come and do them at home for you, i used a chap from a company called metallica to do my old vxr wheels he charged me £25-30 a wheel and done them on the vehicle, ill pm you his number if you like?

The guy i used, details posted earlier, was superb, came to my work place, removed all four wheel's, deflated the tyres, repaired slight rim damage to all four, primed, painted and laquered and refiited wheel's , all in cost me £140

Oh mention your paying cash and you will get it even cheaper

QUOTE(rickylee @ 26 Dec 2009, 12:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Mine was £250 to remove, strip wheels back to the metal, repair, powder coat in white, balance and refit. Highly recommended.Plus you get a 12 month guarantee, so you can take them back within this period if kerb them again

Now that does sound well worth it
