Shadow chrome?

I seen a MK1 RS with light blue wheels in a mag a while back and that looked cool, different but cool.

diamond cut and matt black
Do you know who can do the diamond cut? I like the finish on the s-max diamond cut (ST style) wheels, but have never seen anyone saying they'll finish wheels like that - I have a set of ST alloys in need of a re-furb and I like the idea!

Mine are standard Mondeo rims, Mystique Silver.
They look different in low or bright light, different angles etc. The rims help this because they have facets.
Old pics now, but demonstrates the colour well. It's raised on RS coils, has roof bars and tow bar now, and different exhaust.

Pretty sure the wheel specialist can do diamond cut finishes http://www.thewheels...iamond-cutting/

I've heard good things about them in general but I think they can be pricey.
Ooh glad i stumbled across this thread, I didn't know any places who could do my wheels for me,and thankfully the nearest one is 15 minutes drive away. Had a quick quote off them to do my wheels in Gloss Black, they take the tyres off ,refit and balance them, and it came to £370, i think that is a very good price myself, or is it a little bit steep ?

They will do a good job, but that is probably on the pricey side. I've not had a refurbish done before but most people say £60 per wheel is an average price so £240 for all 4. If you haggle with them they may come down to £320-ish, I called them for a quote ages ago then said no and got a call a few weeks later with a reduced price.

Thanks, I am in no hurry to get it done just yet, but considering their only around the 15 minute to 20 minute drive away, i think i will go and see them closer to the time, and see what's the best they can do, it then gives me the chance to see their work close up.

Looking forward now to get them done, will be going for Gloss Black.
