QUOTE(john_1988 @ 9 Jan 2010, 09:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>hi all, I currently own a fiesta st and am a member of the fiestastoc.com, I have owned the car for nearly 3 years from new and fancy a change. tommorrow I am going to look at a 57 blue 28k st3 which is up for £12,400. just wanted to know-

a) is it a good price?
b) what is it like to own?
c) what to look for when buying the car?
d) is the facelift the same to drive as the pre facelift?
e) how much to fill tank & how many miles you get back on avereage?

I have also downloaded buyers guide which I am about to read

Thanks alot I appriciate any replies

a) Not sure, I paid less than that for a 57 plate st2 with 10k on the clock over a year ago, but prices have been up and down this year. It doesn't seem to bad a price though, how does it compare to other st3s on say pistonheads?
b) I love mine, so I'm only going to say good things about owning it
You will probably notice a difference in fuel, tax and insurance costs, but I'm guessing it will be just as reliable as your Fez.
c) Hopefully you will have found all the answers to this question in the buyers guide.
d) Not sure as I've never driven the facelift. Plenty of people on here have had both and I can't remember reading that anyone said they drive differently.
e) How heavy is your right foot? I've averaged 25mpg since getting the car, but a lot of that is short trips. Try here for more MPG info: http://www.focusstoc.com/forums/MPG-Poll-t10812.html

Hope this helps
