Hi, can somebody in the know please tell me if the 4th service on a ST is a interim or major service?

I've been to the ford garage and they seem to be quoting me a major service, even thought they themselves performed a major service on it last year (year 3)
Have they done the major serviice a year too soon?

Interim... correct - 3rd one is a major service

was that £186 from a main dealer?
I have just been quoted £300 (inc a £50ish MOT), so £250 for the service

Yes mate, People's ... and £35.00 for the MOT if done at same time

to compound the confusion, this site seems to suggest the 4th is a major service, not interim, or have i misunderstood it somewhere?

I have been told the same as my car is on 50k and due a major service

All the parts quoted on the etis can be had for just over £120, and time wise should only be a couple of hours

My handbook says the 4th Year is Interim and that's what was done...

My car has only done 20,000m so I cant say it needed a Major Service after getting one last time.
