HI Mate, mine went through her 2nd mot last week, 20K miles, 5 years old this January, and she flew through, not even an advisory note. Treat her well and she'll serve you for whatever you want (Jeez, could do with a girl like that!).

My car flew through it's second MOT with no problems what so ever, even with all my mod's. The emissions where near the limit but that was with a full exhaust and 100CPI sports CAT!

Yep, I'm running the same, exhaust wise, but not even a word of warning from my MOT centre. Talk about an under-rated high performance motor.
Mines just coming upto her first, any advice on common things to sort before sending her in.

Take the dump valve off, instant fail

2007? Unless you've modded the hell out of her then I wouldn't bat an eyelid, she'll go through no probs.
She has had quite a few mods yes but nothing major really. She also had a new engine in August which had covered 12000miles, 20000miles less than the original engine had.

No probs with a moded car passing an mot, unless of course its home made and has sharp bits.

Mine passed its second with all mods and remaped, as far as emitions go if you havn't got a light on the dash, the car is legal and will pass no probs.

Just check the normal things work, lights, washers, wipers, tyre tread and you'll be fine.

Well.... the old boy passed

The dealer was at it as usual, giving advisories on brake pad wear, tyre tread and headlamp beams
but it still went through ok

And the total price for MOT & Service was £186.51, which isn't bad for a dealer these days

And I had my re-map back on Race before I left the forecourt
... it was so horrible as std I couldn't wait ... praise be for DS
