The pipe was a ball ache and a half to fit mainly due to me not having a Stanley knife but eventually got it done.The most time consuming part was getting the old pipes off the sensor.Also had a little bit of difficulty getting the pipe back into the booster but a little spit on the end got it in.

Proud that I didn't break any of the clips lol.Needs a good clean but I'm happy with the way it is turning out.

So I got the chance to drive a buddies ST180 today and OMG am I speechless.It is a FBO stage 2 and makes just under 200whp but wow does it put the power down nicely.I could not believe how fast it felt and extremely smooth at the same time.I definitely felt like I was driving a snail after getting back into my car lol.

Mad mick (twitch) was driving a a st170 (no turbo) it went really smooth and it should as it just got rebuilt, he went on a trip with it for parts collection and a kid in his fiesta st put his foot down, well we all know what that means, mick put his foot down and went right past him with ease, these old cars still have it if you know how to drive.

How do you think our little ST180 pushing out 400bhp on high boost feels…insanely fast but so much fun to drive :)

I can only imagine what that feels like!

I decided to change headlight bulbs today and now I'm regretting it.I pulled off the drivers side light and was met by an utter clusterf*ck of dodgy,butched wiring that wasn't even insulated properly.The OEM plugs have been cut off and replaced with female spade terminals.Bits and pieces have been cut and joined together and a screw was put through the housing to hold the bulb in place.

I just can't understand how a person could mutilate a car like this and see nothing wrong with it.I don't have the time to redo everything as I am moving next week but I'll definitely need to tackle it as soon as I'm settled.

Attended a dyno day with a few of my buddies today by a company which is primarily VAG focused.I didn't put it on the rollers but wow did she stand out amongst the sea of VAGs.

Also got to witness an RS3 put down 612kw/819hp on the wheels.My eyes almost popped out of my head when I saw that figure.

I am a dumb dumb.So I dropped off the ST at the dealership that the car carrier would be picking it up from and forgot to raise the front.I get a call in the afternoon and they had spent an hour driving to get the car onto the carrier but couldn't because of the ride height.I had to take a bus to the dealership this morning and decided that the easiest thing to do with minimal tools on hand was to remove the front lip.I doubt there should be any issues now but I'm feel much better once I get a pic of it loaded.

The city I moved to has the largest ford st club in South Africa.I posted on the group that I needed help and somebody came and dropped off a sump for free(I was shocked to say the least) then one of the trusted ST techs showed up and towed the car to his workshop which is an hour away.He then contacts me and says that I just need to pay for the oil and oil filter and he will take care of the rest......I was honestly left speechless by all the help that they offered me especially since I just moved to the city and nobody knows me from a bar of soap.
