Catback has been fitted.Got a slight scare when the guy first revved it lol.It is obviously very very loud but drone is minimal. This is not my daily so I wanted something a little naughty. Its broken up into 3 pieces so I can make changes without having to pull the entire exhaust out.

This was probably the final mod for the year.Car will be going mod xrs in January and there's a couple of maintainence items I'd like done.Really contemplating going custom manifold and gtx turbo but still doing research into that.

Look how clean the rear subframe is compared to our UK ones 👍👍
Assuming rust is an issue over there??

Just some year end random pictures. The ceramic on the car is still doing a decent job.Literally just rinsed the car after a week of standing. The car definitely needs a complete respray next year. You really see the condition of it when it is clean.

Hit the weekly meet at McDonald's.White FL 225 is big turbo and makes over 400kw and 800nm on the wheels.Absolute animal.

We went to a friend's house for new years day and spent half of the afternoon chasing misfires and fixing boost pipes that kept popping off on the PFL next to my car.

I can honestly say that the people I have met through the st community are some of the nicest I have come across.I've only been in this city for around 4 months and it already feels like home.

Well 2023 has not gotten off to a good start so far.

I was filling some fuel one day and when I try to start the car,it just clicked once and didn't even try to turn over.I kickstarted it and it was fine.I thought it was strange but went about my day.It happened again a few days later and eventually became a regular thing. My battery voltage was good so I figured it must be the starter.Gor myself a new starter from ford, fitted it and still the same ****.Switched batteries with my friend and it continued to do the same thing.Kickstarted it again and that is when I see that the battery voltage is sitting at 11v and not picking up no matter how I drive the car.Pulled the battery terminal and the car switched off so I guess the alternator has taken a dump.

What I'm trying to understand is how does a failing alternator affect the start up?My Battery voltage always sat above 12.6v when trying to start it.

But yeah I ordered one of those big screen double din headunits from ebay and a set of eyelids.I wasted money on a starter because I was too lazy to check everything.Lesson learned!

Hi guys.

Car has been parked off since my last post lol.I ordered a set eyelids and received the double din since then.

So today I sent the car to get the alternator sorted and FINALLY fit everything for mod xrs and even that was a headache. The guy arrived with a trailer at first and the car was too low to get up which led to my lip cracking. He then came back with a flatbed and somehow managed to get it up onto it.The car should be ready by week hopefully.I plan on running some logs on pump fuel then throwing in some ethanol to see what it is.

Below is a picture of my buddies 225 which blew its plenum up.

We replaced the plenum and then a week later,it has ring failure on cylinder 5.Another st in our little group blew a coolant hose which then blew its headgasket.Overall not a great start to 2023 for us.

Ok so alternator turned out to be fine,it was actually the fuse on the power line between the battery, alternator and starter that was the issue but now my start button doesn't work.It still switches the car off but doesn't switch it on.We've tried another button and fuses/relays from another mk2 but still nothing. It used to just click once when the issues started but now doesn't even do that so really stumped. The car has been left with an auto electrician and hopefully the bill doesn't bankrupt me.

We also fitted the actuator,RS injectors and mod xrs file. From the videos I have been sent, the car pulls much better in the higher rpms.

The spacers were also fitted and I'm pretty happy with the look from the few pics I have seen.

BCM was the issue. That was repaired. Also,my pro hoses turbo inlet pipe seemed to be choking the car at higher RPM while in boost. He put in a support and that issue was resolved. The car had a terrible misfire when we test drove it and discovered a few faulty coilpacks.Even still, car feels totally transformed after this latest round of mods.It sounds much more aggressive and definitely pulls harder.

The spacers look so good but I am having some hectic rubbing going on(not the good type). My choices are to either raise the car or remove the spacers.

Eyelids are fitted.I have a donor set of coilpacks on the way to hopefully sort out the misfire under heavy load.I also fitted the android touch screen.I wasn't expecting much for the price but so far it is decent.

Also due for some front brake pads. Can't decide on what pad to go for.

Haven't bothered with the ST as I have a really full plate at the moment. It should be going in soon for some upgraded shafts.I still need to do the heater hoses and clutch.FML it never ends.
