So the ST is all good and well for now.I got a ticket for no front plate after picking it up on saturday. As you can see,it is slightly raised in the front and I haven't fitted the lip back.

I'm not sure what it is but I've kind of lost motivation to continue with the car.I still have the RS injectors laying in the boot and I haven't really been looking into more mods.I still need to sort out the wiring for the headlights and my damn remote battery keeps dying a month or two after replacing it.

Ok so my pity party is over lol.I decided to attend a meet this past weekend. It was an open event and about 15 or so STs showed up which is mind blowing for me as I was only 1 of 5 in my previous city.

Anyways we got chatting and I feel much better about the car.I've been wanting to change the stock cutback for a while now but I do not want to be that knob with a super loud car in the estate that I live in so I've been doing some research into an electronic cutout. It seems like a fairly simple concept but the wiring of it is what scares me abit.I do not want to drill into any part of the floor or engine bay.(Anyone with experience with these, please comment).

Attended a crew carwash this weekend. It was a bit of a drive which was long overdue and the car felt good.

Put on a crew sticker and wow did that make me sweat as I am notorious for screwing up sticker fitment lol

On a positive note,I will finally be ordering my imap in this coming week...super super excited for that!

This arrived today. It's something I have wanted since taking delivery of my ST and finally I have one.I plan on getting new plugs and doing a full comb over all clamps and hoses before I load a map on.Also need to get myself a bottle of octane booster.I thought about trying 1 map each week but screw it,I'm going straight to mod x.I have the RS injectors and recirc blank off but can only get the actuator next month for mod xrs.Either way, this week better go by quick!

Also ordered a trc lip which should be going on next week.

Could not take it anymore....straight after work last night(11pm) I changed the plugs and threw in some octane booster.Loaded up the mod x map and went for a drive. All i will say is that I came back with a huge smile on my face and definitely feel this was the best mod I have done so far.

I'm looking forward to seeing what mod xrs has to offer but overall I am a happy chappy.

Got the v1 and v2 maps from dreamscience.I've had v1 on for about a week and I feel it is a little too obnoxious for my liking.Vids on YouTube do not do it justice and I can see why it is for "track" use only.

Will be fitting some 101mm tips on friday and hopefully ordering my actuator.

Got some stuff planned for this coming week.Tomorrow the windows will be getting tinted and my appointment for the tips is on Wednesday.

Also finally ordered my forge actuator and blank off plate for the oem recirc valve. The same guy who made the front splitter is making me some of those side skirt extensions as well. The car is booked for a detail at month end.

So the guy that will be doing the exhaust has started buying the materials...We spent almost 2 hours chatting about it and what I wanted from it.As this is not my daily,I opted for a single box system without a resonator or cat.It will be full 76mm and use v bands for easy removal and installation.101mm slash cut flared tips.

This was not planned at all but once I saw the guys work and heard a few of the vehicles he had on site,I had to do it.I did enquire about a dreamscience catback but the import and shipping fees were more than the actual exhaust lol.

Hi guys. This forum is really awesome so i figured it would be a nice place to keep track of what i do to my ST.

I have no clue if it is an st2 or st3,maybe somebody can identify it for me lol.

Quick summary...I bought it in February with 120 000km on the clock. It was completely stock besides a decat.

Mods i have done so far are:
-Resonator delete
-Motorcade bottom mount intake
-ARC coilovers
-Polished the headlights
-Full LED package

Mods i have on order
-Maxton lip
-RS wing
-Rogue performance 76mm downpipe
-Pumaspeed BOV

I plan to have the block mod, waterpump and cambelt done towards the end of May.

I'll just post a few random pics now.One a pic of what i used to drive before getting my st.Another is of my buddys st.His dad has a 225 and a 250 so they've been really helpful. View attachment 906360 View attachment 906361

So I'm ready to go mod xrs,I just hope it was worth the wait.

The spacers are almost complete.I believe the studs just need to be pressed in and they need a polish.I still need to go get my side skirt extensions fitted and the car will be going in for a full detail next week Monday.I don't know much about all the techniques and processes that are involved in a detail so it will be interesting to learn.Besides the mods mentioned above and my catback,I believe these will be the final mods for the year.

On another note....how scarce/common are k16 turbos in the U.K????

The initial price is not too bad but the shipping and import fees amount to more than the turbo lol.

Got the car back from the detailer today.Super happy with the results. The paint was seriously neglected by the previous owner so the results are not as immaculate but still much better than before.A full respray will be needed in future.

Got the skirt extensions fitted and windows tinted.

Did a small wedding convoy with 6 of my 225 buddies yesterday and man oh man did people seem to love the FL.It turned a serious amount of heads which was a nice confidence boost.Car performed well and gave some decent economy.

I also attended a dyno day in the afternoon. The car made a very disappointing 188kw and 351nm.A friend ran his 225 with very similar mods besides the tune and he made 224kw and 450nm so something is not right with my car.Something tells me that this dumb pumaspeed BOV is the culprit so I'll be fetching a symposer plug tomorrow and removing the BOV.I'm also wondering if a tired actuator could cause it?

Took a kid to his grade 7 dance during the week and attended a charity run with the club and boy oh boy was it worth it.I have never been apart of something like that and the drive and scenery was insane. There was around 40 cars from stock 180s to a big turbo 225 which I couldn't stop drooling over.My st performed pretty well besides being a tad heavy on fuel.I cruised for most of the way in 6th and I did not drop below 13.9l/100km.

I took out the ****ty pumaspeed bov and plugged the pipe and vacuum line this morning and I honestly feel the car is quicker. Not sure if it's in my mind or what.I suppose I should hit the dyno again.Spacers are going on tomorrow.

It's quite likely, the Mk2 doesn't care a lot for most types of atmospheric dump valve.

It was one of those duel piston ones with the line on it to recirc back into the system but yeah glad I got rid of it.Seems like there is a large group of people over there in the UK that really dislike pumaspeed haha
