Anyone have an idea of an easy to get to 12 volt supply within the car interior?
( new shape / facelift model )

I have the new sat nav so can't remove this, mainly looking at the centre console area ( if I can get the

thing out ! )

Anyone managed to find a good, easy to get to but hidden 12v supply ???

I thought there already was one underneath the centre armrest on the facelift??

I could be wrong though... I don't have a facelift lol

Yeah there is but I want a hidden one to hide some wiring!

Hence me wanting to find out how easy it is to get to the rear of the 12volt socket in the arm rest.

i used the glove box light to put a accesory socket in the glovebox to charge my phone, seems to work ok and easy to do as well.

Could always put in a dedicated cable from the battery! Considering what its for

the above would work but not really a good idea as its only fused and thin wire to supply 5watt bulbs... so nono

ideal would be to take a wire from the battery with a fuse as close as possible to the battery insted of spliceing into a cable.. safest also there is a big rubber grommet above the fusebox that goes into the engine bay

i only use it to power a phone charger as i said, not going to try and boil a kettle!
