Recall Notice (R/2018/008) What to do?

I recently did a Motorscan check on my vehicle to check the last MOT advisories that require attention to find there’s a possible outstanding recall R/2018/008 for a concern : THE ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD MAY CRACK (localised overheating) on models Kuga/Focus/Cmax & Fiesta ST’s for vin production between WF0AXX - WF0UXX.
Its the first time Ive seen this recall notice despite it being placed on 08 Jan 2018.
I rang the dealers who have said according to the Ford system check there is NO outstanding recall on my VIN.
So my question is who do I believe Motorscan or Ford as I know this is a common problem for the ecoboost engine.
Has anyone else had dealings with on how to get this rectified…. thanks in advance.

i thought that was just for fiestas and kugas? i remember the fiasco we had with the wifes st180 at the time,i booked it in,took the car to the dealers expecting the work to be carried out but they said oh no this is just a check to see if it needs doing! it did need doing so booked it in for another day ,took it back again to be told they were still waiting for the parts to arrive so had to go back a 3rd time, total bunch of incomepetent idiots  even when the work had been done i checked it out to find the new hose was rubbing on the bottom edge of the engine cover so that would have soon chafed through causing the problem they were supposed to be rectifying
i hope your dealer is better

Apparently the Ford system is correct and no recall required, so very strange as the remedial work was to fit a cooling sensor and dash instrument warning neither of which i can confirm other than than usual water temperature gauge. In fact I dont even think the Preface-lift Focus ST has a low oil warning sensor let alone a cooling one. Anyway glad I double checked what Motorscan was suggesting thanks to @louishamilton310 for his swift check. 😉
