So many of you have requested some photos of my stunning find. The 350 Mile round trip this weekend gone was well worth it. Finally got her home and a quick wash. I do have some questions that you guys will more than likely be able to answer me.

I've attached some Photos.

She's a 2010 FSH, Milltek Sports cat with a dream science software including lots of security features too. He even gave me the fitted dash cam! The bloke was a lovely guy!

So now, she drives faultless runs like a dream and pulls like a train. It's had a block mod timing belt and water pump done on 2019 by Auto Modz with receipts and verification from automodz. Again in Jan 2021 it had the RS clutch fitted by automodz, receipts and confirmation for this too. Reason the owner was selling the car was due to he has 4 kids and the wife said he must get something with 5 doors   poor sod.

Now the reason for the above rant, when the RS clutch & Flywheel got done it had genuine LUK parts including cylinder. It's covered around 2,200 on this new clutch and flywheel. Now for the annoying bit. Every now and again it will rattle, once I depress the clutch that goes away "suspected Flywheel" I've asked about and ALOT of people have said they've had the same issue when fitting the RS clutch kits. "Genuine" Now my questions is is this Normal? I've been a mechanic for 7 years left the mechanic trade 2 years back to become an engineer and I've never knowing of this to happen unless its faulty I'm no ST specialist though.

Glad to be part of the group. big thanks to Kev & Phil who helped me with my search top blokes!

Mine was fine until I had the engine rebuild after a cracked liner. It rattled after that.

Had a new clutch fitted with a different garage fairly recently and it rattles the same, only now I've got a creaking from the engine mounts as well

Hasn't caused any problems and sometimes it's worse than other days but we're talking about 3 years since it started and sometimes I don't notice it at all

Cheers guys! Yeah she's very clean mate not one bit of rust, no dints or and the scratches that where there have ALL come out! Shes getting a clay bar wash polish and wax this weekend as weather looks promising. My only issue! I've now got some stone chips :(

Stone chips are character. Get them fixed and guess what happens next time you drive the car?

Don't worry too much. Remember your Focus is a ST not a RS.

Lovely looking motor mate.
I have the RS clutch, flywheel and CSC, mine makes that exact same rattle you're describing.
Sometimes its not there, sometimes it is, really weird and learned to live with it, doesn't affect the driveability, just sounds a bit like a diesel on tick over sometimes, which isn't ideal but for the cost of stripping it all out again, isn't worth it in my opinion.
As mentioned, just drive faster and turn the tunes up.
