As a few know, I had an issue with burning oil and idle/misfire, I did have block mod, but after much investigation I decided to send car to dreamscience on 5th September, I figured the engine was toast, and Carl Confirmed the liners had warped out of tolerance,
So I thought, screw it, let's get her done properly this time 🤣

So I had them rebuild engine with performance forged spec, that includes new liners that are pinned, I head rebuilt and Newman stage 2 cams as it made sense, I also went for there txx hybrid turbo setup with 550cc injectors,
They also did the power steering hoses as they were leaking and the clutch gave out on first test drive, so that got done too,
I also did a full brembo e38 bmw conversion,

2 months later I collected her last week

400 miles left to run in engine, then the fun begins 🤣

Can't wait for shows to restart

That sounds rather expensive Darren.

You'll be keeping this for a while then.

Yep I will mate, Ive spent too much already on her to not commit to it, she's a low mileage 2010 anyway so will be a good car to keep hold of imo

The money we spend on our cars is ridiculous, but we love it really.

Although, I think I might have cut my losses and just got an RS, but then again, Id be too worried about driving it anywhere, so it would probably have sat in the garage most of the time, which is a waist really.

Yeah that is the dilemma sttwoton, if I hadn't of put so much money into her already over last 5 years I'd agree but it made sense to just go the whole hog as even buying an RS wouldn't be anywhere near to the quality on mine now unless I went for a prebuilt one, then your talking silly money and it's not your build 🤔

True, but at least with an RS you would get most of your money back on resale.

I said to the Mrs that if we won some decent lottery money, first thing I'd buy was an Ultimate Green RS and get a big garage built to keep it in....the big house and tropical holidays would come after...
Her face didn't agree....

Unlike a RS people tend to use (and enjoy) their ST.

Can I rephrase that to

"Use and abuse" 🤣
