Excellent photos...I love old Fords and have always liked Ford cars in general.
I spy an original shape facelifted Rover 216 hiding in the corner of your Orion photo. I had 2 of this type of Rover, both 213 and 216.
Here is a photo of my old Ford from this era, bought new in 1989 and my very first brand new car. It cost £9150  :D

I noticed on the first 2 pics, the reg's last 3 letters TEP, was that coincidence or meant to be like that?

Cool pics by the way.

It will mean that both cars were first registered in the same local area.

For this format of registration plate it is the last 2 letters that determine the issuing office that first registered the vehicle, with EP being Swansea.

The G plate RS Turbo with TH and the Cosworth with WN were also Swansea.

My Orion had GD as the last 2 letters which is Glasgow, and this is where i bought it.

That's a pity...I would have loved to see them because I have a soft spot for both. :)

Not my first Ford but the first I still have pictures of.

This will have been taken in Scotland around 1982.

Spotlights and sunstrip indicated it was sporty...

That was the first 'mod' I ever did, putting foglights on my Renault (supposedly aping a rally car).
