As someone who has always used Photobucket (but now Imgur),  how do I now post an image on the Forum ?

Alb, are we still allowed to link to albums hosted elsewhere?  For example, I have an album containing approximately 90 images from a recent car meet, would I need to upload all 90 images to the site or can I just post the album link in the thread?

I think it depends on the specifics, but for the example you quote, I see no problem :)

Photobucket have seriously :censored: themselves in my opinion.

I have been a member since 2004 and have paid for most of those years but the price has been rising in the past few years to a level where you think enough is enough!

To renew the basic package for this year will cost £46 so I told them no way!

To add insult to injury third party hosting is only available with their top package which costs an eye watering £300 :o

If it's simply quoting a URL as a redirect then no problem.

If it's a question of coding the image, then it will always be better to copy/download the picture then upload here.

As I'm now only a forum user I no longer have access to my how to guides to edit them, I guess I'm not alone.

An individual thread can be moved temporarily to allow it to be fixed Keith.

Should of been a rule years ago.  One site has pretty much destroyed most forums over night leaving broken links everywhere.  Only times until other sites add a paywall.

I dont see an "Attach Files" at the bottom corner when I go to 'More Reply Options' ??

For whatever reason you don't get it in this section.  Should see it in other parts of the forum..

Looks like there is a chrome extension for PB, which has been written as open source code - https://chrome.googl...mfegnfnflicjjgj

I'm moving my stuff out of PB, but thought that @Alb and @djryan25 might be interested in this.

This type of workaround isn't really a long term solution.

It might be fixed today but broken again tomorrow.

Good to see that some people are working on it though.

Completely agree with you.

I think the new STOC policy is the right way to go.

It's a risk with all Cloud services. Crashplan (cloud backup) have just pulled out of the home market after 7 years... so I'm having to find a new solution there as well.
