Please take this message as a general warning to all buyers / Sellers.
In the news regularly, Internet fraud / petty crime is at an all time high, It is greatly advised that extreme caution should be exercised whilst parting with Goods / Monies for Goods either bought or sold via Focusstoc.com or any internet domain.
It is generally advised that goods sold are paid for via Paypal or an equivalent safe money transfer system. There is no charge to the buyer for using this service, and should all else fail for any reason, and you do not land up receiving your goods, then Paypal have a very very good resolution system where by you can be fully remitted should the worst happen.
Paypal WILL NOT reimburse funds where the following methods have been used:
- Personal Gift (Sellers may suggest you use this, as it provides the option for the buyer to pay the Sellers fee's - so the money transferred is the money that the Seller receives - E.g. An induction kit sold for £120 will usually attract a 4% Surcharge at the sellers end so he lands up receiving £115.20 and so on. This option allows the Buyer to pay the £120 plus the £4.80 'Seller Fee' so that the seller indeed receives £120 as agreed. Paypal See this as a way of Parents sending 'gifts' to children or for people sending gifts of a monetary value. Paypal's dispute centre does not cover these transactions, and for the sake of good order - we suggest you do not use this for the Sale / transaction of purchased goods.
It is STRONGLY advised that BACS / Transfers are not done from personal bank account to Personal Bank account. This is a very sure safe way of loosing your cash if you do not know the seller personally, and this is not a route I would go down personally. I'd rather not buy the item if someone suggested this.
When executing funds via paypal, you should always go to paypal from its home page . http://www.paypal.com/ You should never click into paypal via an email, as more often than not, spoof emails are becoming more and more regular in individual's inbox.
I hope this goes some way to protecting all members on this club against fraudulent activity in the future, and I hope all can appreciate the clubs stance on transactions exercised by members through our classified section are by no means a representation of the Club Staff or Founders.
Where we can assist when a transaction goes wrong, we cannot intervene or offer any refunds if funds or goods are lost.
Many thanks for your time on behalf of the Focusstoc.com Club staff and Founders.
