I have been quoted £360 by the local dealer for the 4 year service. This price does not include consumables - oil, brake fluid etc. Seems pretty steep. Have others paid similar prices? Can anyone recommend a specialist in the SW London area?

Can't help with regards the SW London area, but TGST who are a Ford Dealer who specialise in s offer the 4th year service for £225 - details here:

Like I said, not much use to you as a little far away, but hopefully gives you an idea about prices.

Wow! That's an awesome price!

Got mine booked in at Profile for four year service, £190, and that's inclusive, using 0-40w castrol SLX synthetic.

So, some naming and shaming then. The stealer in question is Dees of Wimbledon. I will be avoiding them.

i have not been impressed with the service i get from any of the dealers on that stretch of road, i have a chevrolet as well and the last service was waaay overpriced as is the ford one!!!

you should book a day of work and have a day in Manchester and take it to Profile!!! I was very impressed with the service i recieved from them!!!

On average the service costs have been around the £200 mark. Just about to go for 90,000mile service in a few weeks. Been informed that the biggest sevice cost is the cambelt at 125,000 at £460.
