I am not really a believer in this sort of thing but things have happened in three's in the past.

Monday

Had a great weekend away in the Cotswolds and then woke up Monday morning and went to get in the car to go to work and noticed the rear tyre was flat, so I put some air in but I could hear it coming straight back out. Managed to get to a local tyre place and he found a screw on the inside of the tyre which was pushing into the side wall so wasn't able to repair it.
So a new tyre and 130 quid lighter it was fixed and I was on my way.

Tuesday

Drove to work no problems but on the way home I put my foot down in 4th on a dual carriageway and the rev counter moved but the car didn't. Was it clutch slip? It was funny as I only thought about clutch slip about 5 minutes before it happened as I have just bought some more engine bling and a bailey header tank and for some strange reason I thought I hope my clutch is ok after buying all this useless engine bay stuff. Anyway so I took the car out later when the roads where a bit quieter and sure enough it was. In 4th, 5th and 6th at around 3000rpm.
So that's an RS clutch and while I am at it I may as well get the Quaife. So soon to be 1700 quid lighter. ( Hope the missis doesnt read this as the price is only £850 to her Posted Image )

So far today I have had no problems with the car but I still have my drive home from work to come and if things do come in three's what's next?

Not a good start to the week Si!!! (and I won't tell Denise about the price difference  )

I am not going to make a suggestion about what might be next as I refuse to tempt fate!!!! Hopefully nothing though.

It's not bad luck Si!

The first one is due to the rubbish stae the roads are in. Do they not even clean them anymore?

The second was fate's little way of making you get the Quaife which will mean there will be no slip in the corners. This in turn makes the car safer to drive and ensures that you and your lovely other half remain in good health! :D

No it wasnt a good start Laura but Im sure it can only get better and I dont think Denise will mind too much as long as she gets these £600 shoes she wants for the wedding. But its still only costing £850 at the minute as she may want even more expensive shoes. Posted Image

Gary> Thats a very good way of looking at it. Posted Image
