hi guys, picked up my 2009 plate st-3 last night & loving it more than the wife Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

anyway i have done a search but still have a couple of quick questions.

1. my car has a sat nav stereo (with the sd card input) with bluetooth phone.
is this standard equipment & can the sat nav software be updated.

2. i have an ipod connecter in the centre armrest (usb socket & jack plug) i have connected my ipod classic up via the lead supplied with the ipod, i can select the tracks via the stereo, but no matter what i do no sound comes out.

3. i have rear parking sensors, is this standard.

4. i have 18" wheels is this standard.

5. it looks like i have xenon headlights, true.

i got the car from a ford dealership & the registered keeper was ford u.k.

any help will be greatly appriciated.

You have a Ford Direct car with lots of toys youcan update the satnav card through Ford but it is expensive, you just need to plug in the lead that you will have with your ipod it has a jack plug on either end, if you don't have one get one from Argos, and you have to turn the volume right up on your ipod otherwise it will be very quiet and the volume on the stereo will need to be turned right up which is a nightmare when you get a traffic report hope this helps and Posted Image

As Orange Man says you can buy the jack to jack lead anywhere, but your volume on your ipod adjusts the volume on the stereo.
If you just want a single connection on to your ipod(dock connector)that will charge, control and play sound that doesn't depend on your ipod volume you can get the ford one.
The choice is yours.

You said that your car was first registered to .
Does it say on the logbook, Previous owner - Ford Motor Co. Ltd MRC plan - Eagle Way, Brentwood? If it does it was an ex Ford managers car like mine.
