I got up extra early to get petrol yesterday morning, with a view to making a concerted effort to drive sensibly and achieve a decent max mpg on this tank. When I got home from work that evening it was on 11.7 mpg. :Tantrum: :Tantrum: :censored: roadworks in the middle of town, rush hour traffic... fail.

Most I've managed out of mine is 34mpg bt that was sticking to 60 max and not letting the turbo gauge go to even the quarter mark. 350 to a tank ain't bad bt god is it boring lol

My opinion is if you average more than 25 you have the wrong type of car

This is a load of :censored: :yep: I haven't been below 25 mpg on a single tank yet in the 2 months that I've had the car and I've still had brilliant fun. Just cos I stick to speed limit most of the time doesn't mean I drive like Miss Daisy everywhere.

Just my opinion . Suppose it depends on the type of roads used in every day travel also.

I get 31 from my Insignia Diesel. It gets some stick to get the most out of it. Used to get 15 from my old RX8, u lot are fortunate to get mid 20's out of a car with this performance. I will be buying one over the next few months as it seems to be the perfect all rounder considering performance, practicality and economy
