The only mods an :ST: needs are a re-map and Eibach springs ...

If you want so much more power, noise, grip etc your better starting with something else.

and RARB and intercooler. plus exhaust system and maybe pollybushes and induction

Not having any trouble with my rs clutch.
First day I felt I don't know if I can live with it.
But after a week of it ,I really can't tell the difference anymore.
I now feel it drives the same as before .without the slipping.

Yes I deeply regret modifying mine..... because my garage isn't big enough to house all the standard parts and 4 sets of wheels :lmao:

Mines in a different league compared to standard - I can roll with the big dogs now :)

I wouldn't believe the iPhone app. STs never sound loud at track days compared to other cars, and the other cars pass the sound test.
I've got a sound meter that I can bring to meets if anyone wants to measure.

My car is easily twice the car it was when standard. As standard it handled like a boat, the brakes were poor (thats a kind description) and for the weight of the car the power was only average. Modifying it has improved every aspect. I think the key to modifying successfully and satisfactorily, is quality tried and tested modifications that work with each other. You cant just throw things all together, like in a mixing bowl and expect a perfect and balanced result everytime. Some mods are designed to work with others and compliment each other to get a balanced result.

No probs with the clutch on mine, had it done at DS along with the diff soon got used to it........... you just have to push it a bit harder.

The wife has no problems either.......................

As for stuff that I wasted money on, that would be the Sitec manifold. Doesn't make any extra power, it was supposed to add 10% !
Still I'm not taking it off cos it looks cool.
