i had done every mod poss apart from a gt28 conv which i later learned the other day that a small boy had done and wasnt worth the aggro, the corsa vxr is better in the corners than a st and no dout would wipe the floor with it,the corsa vxr is very torquey and is very fun and involving to drive but peaks to soon and is onli at the end of the day a 1.6 16v engine, the st is a capable and sturdy car that i like the fact it has the 2.5 20v lump and is easy to achieve the power figures, just wish the cornering was like the vxr corsa, overall id have my corsa vxr for track but the st for day to day hands down.running costs are roughly the same i had high compression forged pistons, fmic, and hybrid ko4 (astra vxr/corsa vxr) turbo and the fuel consumption was good even on castle comb.the tyres are the same cost ish,so if i was to sell the two cars id point the younger audience towards the 1.6 corsa vxr and the more mature audience to the st.i used to
all over st's but didnt surprise me as i spent a fortune on the thing standard to 250 bhp is the benchmark of most rss regal autosport corsa vxrs i think a st tuned mildy will show one up all day hope i havent gone on tooo much lol
Wouldn't touch another Vauxhall as long as i live, everyone i've owned has been a bag of
As for the interiors, thats not worth even discussing! Ford all day long.
I had a Corsa Vxr that close up my backside the other day, i thought i was towing the

That's cause the ST owners didn't fancy an over enthusiastic VXR driver parking/torque steering into the side of them

It's not VXR owners I have a problem with, it's the GSI owners!
They seem to think that the GSI is the best hot hatch ever made and that it will munch the ST. Granted a modded GSI would munch a std ST but a slightly tuned ST would more than munch a GSI.
I have a owner near me that claimed he had 300+ bhp so he got it on the rollers and only ran 250. Lmao!
