Andy,

I have my setting on "Content I have not read"

Having just tried reading two pages of a three page thread... going out, and then back in via the "New Content" its taken me to page three.

Does that make sense and does it actually answer your question, as I don't normally use it to be honest.

Jim

Fear not, as my "few gripes" have turned into one.

I don't like the way that when I click on a thread under New Content, it takes me to the first post, not the one I last viewed.
This was quite annoying on a thread that was 19 pages long, and (on the mobile site) I had to click next 18 times.

Please feel free to tell me I'm a dork, or that it can be changed in some kind of settings.

Don't worry, I've figured it.
You just have to click the bullet point, and not the text.
Might be worth putting this info in post 1, as it's bound to be asked again.

Also because I was using My Content, rather than New Content.
My bad.
I am gripe free!..... For the time being... :shifty:

Hehe, no probs, I'd happy for people to ask as there's no doubt others, plus, it helps me know whether there's things I can improve on :)

Glad you worked it out, yes it's the bullet point you need to click to go to first unread.

Don't use the Content I Have Not Read, just set a time frame.

When i go to new content i prefer to see the "New since my last visit" view. Is there any way to set this as my default ? I think this was the default viewing mode before the upgrade.

I do like the new theme. Much cleaner :yep:

Just use a time frame consistent with what you last visit usually is. All unread content will have a black bullet point next to it. Those you have read will be grey.

If i click the "New since my last visit" filter it works fine. It's just a pain to have to click it every time. Call me lazy!

The new content list always used to show "New since my last visit" by default on the old version and it would be nice if it still worked the same way. I think its just a new configuration that can be changed in the admin area.

Yeah it looks fine.

Small thing...in the sponsors forum, can you move the banner to the middle where it used to be rather than the right side which looks kinda strange.
