Hi all,

When did the facelift ST come out?

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27c29a69bb

Seen this on ebay and it just sounds odd to me. 2007, but 'converted' into facelift. Yet it's got the facelift swage lines down the side.
Would have been a lot of work just to complete the look!

This sound dodgy to anyone else?

Rob

It doesn't seem right and dont think the facelift was out 2007, also why is it listed as a Replica if it is a ST

You would think they would also clean it for the photos as well.

He isnt very clear BUT my take on it is that its a 2007 Focus ST that's been changed to a Facelift hence the use of the word replica ( as in Facelift replica )

Looks like an ST but a facelift replica. I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole though, just for the way the description is written alone.

Ah I see but if it has only had rear end damage, I dont understand though why everything has been changed just for rear end damage.

Hmm, yes very very dodgy indeed.
Firstly, the facelift version didn't come out until 2008, so if the car's been changed due to accident damage that means that just about every panel has been changed including the side panels, wings, boot, bonnet, lights, door mirrors, and also the interior dashboard clocks!

Plus those side stripes are not factory standard are they? They don't even line up correctly on the passengers side either.

Sounds like this car is definitely a ringer. Probably a nicked facelift, and I wouldn't mind betting the V5 document the ebay page says it comes with is fake too.

... and I bet that motorbike's nicked too

I bet if you went to buy that car it would end in tears

This should be reported to ebay and the police too. If the car is legitimate, then the seller would have nothing to worry about.
