Hi all,

I'm pleased to welcome to FocusSTOC.com Azionamento

Its fair to say I rarely comment on Sponsors and their services/products, however, as an Advanced Driver myself, I have full confidence in the system and its ability to radically improve most driver's ability. I really look forward to hearing back from any members who take any courses.

Martin Evans, (Username Azionamento) has provided some information about the company.

Quote

Azionamento is run by Advanced Driving instructor: Martin Evans and is dedicated to driver coaching for fleet drivers and private individuals who wish to be better.

Martin Evans has been a qualified Advanced Driver since 2001:

"I always took pride in my driving but like many people, I knew I could be better and the initial IAM course raised my awareness and skill".

Martin undertook further training to become an IAM 'Observer' and since 2002 has been preparing drivers for the IAM's Advanced Driving Test. After further training in 2007 he become an IAM Senior Observer, which responsibilities include the training other Observers and cross-checking drivers before their Advanced test. Martin has himself received instruction from some of the best road drivers in the UK and always keeps an open mind.

"Most people are reasonable drivers...but everyone can be better and often a few hours spent with a professional advanced driving instructor can make a huge difference to skill, progress and confidence".

Martin has a passion for driving and road safety...he is a trustee and active committee member for the charity: Bristol Advanced Motorists (affiliated to the IAM) which prepares people for the Advanced Test.

"I believe in putting people at their ease and encouraging self-criticism when driving . Being ever-willing to learn is an important mind-set for any driver - and that includes me".

Qualifying as a Driving Standards Agency: Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) allows me to offer professional training to private individuals and fleet drivers.

Hello Martin :)

So do you think an ST is a good drivers car from your experience? I know you probably don't own one, but could of driven one :)

Pros and cons of the drivability of the ST? :)

I did a AIM assessment a few years back, and failed as drove through a 60 zone at 40...... A few months later the speed limit was reduced to 40mph at that location!

Would be interested in further improvement tho.

This sponsor is located in Bristol BTW

Yes I do own an ST - since 2007 - done 62,000m and love it! The 'great gobs' or torque are lovely and means you can take liberties with gears that you can't with other cars - probably not good habit though.

For me the ST combination of practicality and performance is ideal...much as I would like to run a Lamborghini Gallardo...!
