It is in a different league to the ST tho, it was designed with performance in mind, whereas IMO the ST was designed for posing and shopping.

Where's the MkII Escort RS1800 or MkII Escort RS2000 FFS?? mad.gif

I voted Escort RS2000 before realising it was the MkI not the II .

And how can the new Focus RS be a contender too? It hasn't even turned a wheel yet!! As much as i am an advocate of the new RS and a neophile when it comes to performace cars in general, the inclusion of the new FRS in that poll is taking the p*$$. Oh well, it is in Auto Express after all so not exactly 100% accurate anyway lol

I voted the RS Turbo Escort cos i loved both models S1 & S2.........but my fave performer was the Sapphire Cosworth 4x4, it always put a smile on my face......the Escos was a great car for posing in tho...... whistle.gif
